Where the Books Are Now and What Comes Next

I wanted to share a quick update on where the Inheritance of Shadows series currently stands.

Book One, Tempered in Shadow, is fully written.

It’s now going through professional polish before I begin the process of submitting it to agents and publishers. This stage matters to me. I want the book to be as strong, clean, and precise as it can be before it goes out into the world.

At the same time, Book Two, Consumed in Shadow, is complete in its first draft.

That’s been a huge milestone. The story is there, the arc is solid, and I’m excited about how much darker and more psychologically complex this part of the series becomes.

The plan now is to continue refining Book Two while Book One moves through its next phase. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes, and I’m looking forward to sharing more as things progress.

If you’re following the series early, thank you. This is the quiet, focused part of the journey, but it’s also where the foundations are properly set.
